It has turned off hot here lately. 100 degrees, quite a bit warmer than it usually is this time of year. I fondly remember watching for hummingbirds when I was a child in southern CA; I even did a science project on them :). That lemon cypress is GORGEOUS! So feathery and delicate! And the doves-what a treasure to watch. We have little baby birds nesting in our dryer vent outlet. Probably not the best for the vent-but we are leaving them until they grow up and enjoy all the chirping we hear in our laundry room. I love hostas and have several varieties in our shady yard. I didn't know they are drought tolerant, but they are super stars. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week! I haven't been posting about food because since we've come back to Indiana, after a month away, there are weeds everywhere. And I have exciting news too - last year I bemoaned the shape of my hosta plants and this year they look great. How sweet to have your little one help. My goodness with so many little ones around how do you get so much done -- plus do such a fantastic job. Kudos to you and big hugs!! Have a great weekend.
