oven-baked s'mores . . . with Halloween peeps

I'm so excited to share these with you!

Have you ever made S'mores with PEEPS?

They're so festive and fun . . . especially around the holidays!

I shared this idea with you for the first time in February, here, when I used heart-shaped 'Strawberries & Creme" flavored PEEPS to make Valentine S'mores

We have a trip planned to go the mountains this weekend, so I thought it would be fun to assemble a quick and easy Halloween S'mores kit with chocolate graham crackers, chocolate bars, and Halloween PEEPS for one of our evening activities.

Aren't these pumpkins darling!?

Preparation
.     .     .     .     .     .     .     .

Preheat oven to BROIL
Assemble S'mores
Place S'mores on a cookie sheet and broil on a high shelf for 1-3 minutes, or until golden brown.
Crack your oven door so that you can watch them!
.     .     .     .     .     .     .     .
Enjoy!

They puff and brown beautifully . . . and taste like heavenly little pillows atop the gooey melted chocolate and crisp graham cracker.

I'm crazy excited about our weekend getaway . . . the cooler temperatures and mountain scenery will be a welcome change to our non Fall-like weather . . .

. . . and I think these S'mores are just the right touch to make this weekend extra special!

LET'S STAY in touch!

  2. Suzanne,
This is such a cute idea and I love smores. This makes them so much more a holiday treat instead of just during the summer around a camp fire. :-)
    Happy Friday.
