I met gold nugget squash for the first time this Fall.
Their creamy orange hue drew me near at first . . . and then I fell for their small pumpkin squash shape.
I found them at our Farmers' Market amidst other beautiful squash and gourds.
They're quite unique . . . and very pretty.
I brought several home, and paired them them with my blue, multi-colored, Cinderella, and Fairy Tale pumpkins . . . and they compliment them beautifully. Perhaps its the gold nugget's creamy under-tone.
Whatever it is . . . I can't seem to get enough of them.
They've easily found their way into all my Fall decor.
On top of petite pedestals,
on our mantle,
stacked in large white bowls,
on our dining table,
& nestled around blue pumpkins
So happy to have found such a beautiful treasure this Fall.
Have you found a new Fall treasure?
LET'S STAY in touch!

ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
DeleteThanks so much for coming by!
I'm always amazed at the variety of pumpkins and gourds I see at our local market and Farmer's Market. It's always so hard to choose. Gold nugget squash won my heart over this year though :0)
Have a beautiful week,
Suzanne
Love the mix of colors and shapes. I found my fall treasure in the teeny tiny white pumpkins - about the size of a tennis ball and some smaller.
ReplyDeleteJack-be-Littles are precious! My kids love to decorate with them. I can't seem to leave a store without the kids wanting to buy one :0)
DeleteThanks so much for sharing!
