pink ranunculus . . .

This post is a great example of why I'm behind on sharing our daughters' candy themed birthday with you. I get side-tracked with posts like this one. Instead of finishing one of the many, many posts that I already have in my que, I get excited to share simple, beautiful things with you, like these flowers.

I love flowers. Love them. Love. Love. Love.

I buy fresh cut flowers every week, and have since I was in my mid-twenties when I visited our local Farmer's Market every Saturday for fresh produce . . . and, of course, flowers. It was always a special treat after a long, stressful week.

With Spring knocking on our door, the market is full of gorgeous flowers . . . so I might have bought a few more than normal this week. Oh boy, wait til you see the white & creme colored daffodils I bought. Sigh. Dreamy.

Somehow I talked myself into 'taking a break' from making party decorations (it's our youngest son's birthday this weekend), so that I could take photos of the pink ranunculus I bought yesterday.

They are so pretty, especially when the morning and afternoon light shine on them. Have you treated  yourself to fresh cut flowers lately? I hope so!

Ok, back to making decorations.

Have a beautiful day! Enjoy!

LET'S STAY in touch!

Your comment made me laugh out loud :0) I've learned that fresh flowers can brighten up anything, so maybe you should buy a few extra bouquets every week, just for those unfinished areas :0)

    1. Thank you so much, Stacey!
So happy you enjoyed my pink ranunculus. Have you ever seen a mixed color bouquet of them? They're utterly stunning! So when you find them, buy a few colors, like yellow, orange, and pink. You will be amazed at their collective beauty. I hope you're able to find some this Spring and Summer!
And for photography tips . . . Well, I'm self-taught and can't even name the parts of my camera. I pay attention to lighting, as I think natural light gives the absolute BEST photographs. Again, thanks for coming by! Hope you keep in touch.
      Have a great day,
