Summer peaches . . .

My favorite time of year to visit our local  Farmer's Market is in the Summer and Fall.

Here we are last Summer. Quite spectacular, isnt' it!?!

It's the perfect place to bring your family to experience the season's treasures.

You'll find happy Farmers, plenty of incredibly fresh and ripe fruits and vegetables on display for tasting, fresh baked goods, and a leisurely pace that's quite welcome to this busy mom.

Like always, we came home with the most colorful and unique heirloom tomatoes (at reasonable prices!), garden vegetables, and fruits . . .

                                            like these Summer yellow peaches.

I wish you could smell their intense sweet aroma.

. . . And they were so juicy!

You know, the kind of peaches that require you to eat them over a napkin. Yeah, those ones!

We enjoyed them in their natural sweet state . . .

. . . and then I hid several for a few dessert and beverage recipes that I've been wanting to try out.

I can't wait to share them with you, so stay tuned!

Not sure where to find a Farmer's Market near you?

  1. Both the peaches and plums have been so good this year. I love to cut them up and sprinkle with a tiny bit of sugar and enjoy as desert. Thanks for joining Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty

It was so easy, I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. :) Have a great week!
